YES!!! Orientation is over, didn't post anything the last two days, was simply because i was super duper tired, sitting in the bus, 45 mins journey... reaching home either 10 or 11pm. So this post would be a rather long one, no photos involved, coz i forgot to bring my camera during those days. hahaha... probably no one would read it, but again, who cares...

On the first day of orientation, 17/4/08

The bus 31 was filled with people when i enter, i forgot i went on the peak time, seeing the JC students and secondary students in school uniform makes me feel weird, wearing own colthes heading to school, still can't really get use of the idea of wearing own clothes to attend school. Anyway, I met up with Yvonne and Yufeng in Macdonalds in Tampines interchange early morning to eat breakfast... Haiz... i simply had no appitite to eat, either too nervous or all the hunger pangs are gone, driven away by the 45 mins BUS RIDE!! Gave Yvonne half of my burger and the whole harshbrown, hahaha... amazed by how hungry she is, she ate altogether 1 1/2 burger and 2 harshbrowns for breakfast, reminds me of Tiffany and Stephanie, they probably would be telling me "Like that only ah, this would i think make my only 1/2 full..." hahaha... miss them alot.

Reaching the school, only Yufeng and i were left, entering the school, feeling extremely blur, not knowing where to go, luckily, so happened that we met Maryam on the way, she took the lead and we managed to register. My class is in 1Bo6 and Yufeng's is in 1B23, i had the shock of my life when i know Maryam is in the same class as my. hahahah.... can't imagine, after 3 years of being in the same class, she would be my classmate for another 1 more year!

We were being kept in the Auditorium for dunno around 3 hours, at that time, i so need to pee badly, hahahaha... 3 HOURS!! it was unbearable. The food too... Anyway, luckily didn't play any vigorous game, just some ice-breaking games, got to know some people. Hmmm... let me see if i can remember, 1B06 we have: me, Julianna, Samantha, Choi Ling, Yew Ling, Jia Ying, Cheryl, Adrina, Phyllis, Naomi, Maryam, Wan ling, Choi Ling, Joanne, Geok Gee, Dion, Andrew, Kenneth, Chester, Guo Hao, man... i am racking my brain to remember the chinese names, haiz... these are all i could remember for now... oh and our Synergy leaders are Gan, Chrelle and another chinese named person, forgot the name again... So happy, my class have 4 IJ Girls, including me, there is Maryam, Choi ling and Yew Ling... Orienatation was alright for the first day, learned the mass dance and the chickadee dance, man, it was chaotic, but fun. Ended around 6 where the lecturers and freshmans have the tug-of-war... had dinner with Yu feng at TM Burger King and went home together with Yvonne... so exhuasted went i reached home, practically slept infront of the computer after i bathe, didn't even wait for the my hair to dry and went to sleep. 3 am when i woke up, my hair was still quite drench, imagine, drying my hair i the middle of the night, scary!

Second day of orientation was longer,the day when all the schools meet for competition... Business school was the overall champion for 3 years running, and was aiming for the forth this year. Yu feng was late for our meeting before we head to TP, we said to meet at 7.30 am, she came at 8.10, i was sitting at the interchange for 40 MINS!! stoning there, super sleepy, felt like crawling to my bed and sleep. TIRED!! We met Maryam on the way to Audi 1, and received our school shirts right when we reached there, Business school- Yellow, IIT school- 'KC' blue, Engineering- Lavander, HHS- Orange, Applied science- Lime Green, Design school- Turquoise. BSG had a talk in the Audi, a long one, i can see most of them had their heads down, hahaha... mine was about to. then we had something like a sports day, where all schools assemble infront of the tracks, sqeezed like jelly, coz they are trying to squeeze in all the schools in a place, but it was quite interesting, the different colour shirts was extremely striking, like a group yellow, then one group blue, nice... Although we just see the people representing our school played the games, but it was fun to watch; getting frustrated when they made mistakes, geting relieved when they realised it, getting excited when the competition is close, and learning that it is not really a competition, in a sense that business school would cheer other schools on when they lag behind, and others would do the same if we lag behind. I guess it is a sense os 'sport' s men ship' (however you spell it). Jia Ying, Maryam and some others left early, hahaha, not wanting to be uncomfortable sitting squashed up with the everyone, coz it was seriously hot and uncomfortable, leaving me, Choi Ling, Adraina and Cheryl left sitting together!!

After that, we had the Temasek Regatta, where the whole poly freshmen would walk to Bedok reservoir.... there were the Dragonboat races, cheering all for business school all the way!! Biz biz biz biz-ness... hahaha.. there was also the 'spirit' competition, sort of the cheerleading and stuff... Award time, there were 5 awards ro be given out, and business school dominated!! won 4 out of the 5!! there was the People's award- being like sort of the most enthu i think, there was the Regatta award- winning the overall races, the Olympiad award- winning the overall games, the 'Spirit' award- winners of the cheerleading performance, and the overall Champion trophy... Business school won all but the 'Spirit' award. it's ok. Man... it was a emotional sight, there were some SL crying out of happiness...

We were dismissed after that, and went to TM for dinner with Yufeng and Yvonne. Went Pastamania, coincidentally met Samantha Sum and Charlotte... Walked around TM for a while, that Jesslyn finally called us, she ah, have so much energy, still can go for the 'Jam and Pop' thing, but hahaha... serve her right, she found it quite boring and boring and left early... and joined us o go home. Me, Lokto, Yvonne, and Jesslyn went home together... quite fun, in the bus, catch up wih each other!! Super tired when i reached home, watched SURVIVOR and then went to sleep...

Oh yeah... i had received my timetable. hahaha... there is actually no lessons n Monday starting from now on... super cool!! i may not get use to the 4 days of school a week, but just have to give it time!!
